Accidents on television sets are becoming increasingly common. After recent incidents on Anupamaa and Mangal Lakshmi sets, another mishap has occurred, involving actor Ankit Gupta on the set of Star Plus’s popular show Maati Se Bandhi Dor.
According to reports, Ankit lost his balance while shooting and hit his head on a set instrument. He was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Confirming the incident, Ankit shared with India Forums, “Yes, I got injured on the set. I banged my head into a panther. Luckily, no stitches were needed, so I was saved.”
Ankit Gupta, well-loved for his role in Udaariyaan and his appearance in Bigg Boss 16, often makes headlines for his performances and rumours about his relationship with co-star Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. The two previously starred together in Udaariyaan and are adored by fans as a popular on-screen pair.
This accident follows recent tragic incidents on other sets. On Anupamaa, an assistant cameraman lost his life due to an electric shock, while a crew member was seriously injured on the set of Colors’ Mangal Lakshmi.
These frequent accidents highlight the risks involved in TV production, emphasizing the need for enhanced safety measures on sets to protect cast and crew members.
